{"id":38,"date":"2019-09-18T21:55:56","date_gmt":"2019-09-18T21:55:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.reamiga.info\/?page_id=38"},"modified":"2021-09-16T15:11:54","modified_gmt":"2021-09-16T15:11:54","slug":"reamiga-1200","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.reamiga.info\/?page_id=38","title":{"rendered":"ReAmiga 1200"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ReAmiga 1200<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the recreation of the Amiga 1200:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First introduced at:<br><a rel=\"noreferrer\" data-ss1569104869=\"1\" data-ss1569527402=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PlxLs2KYNKw\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PlxLs2KYNKw<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer\" data-ss1572615177=\"1\" href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.hertell.nu\/?p=587\">http:\/\/wordpress.hertell.nu\/?p=587<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Locator of the parts: <a href=\"http:\/\/locator.reamiga.info\/locator.php?project=R1200\">http:\/\/locator.reamiga.info\/locator.php?project=R1200<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a clone of the Amiga 1200 with some additions:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Composite Video area changed to a new decoder for improved quality. also added S- Video <\/li><li> VGA Connector added, still only Native frequencys like 15KHz <\/li><li>Kickstartswitch built in<\/li><li>PCMCIA Reset fix<\/li><li>Onboard optional LEDs<\/li><li>optional IRQ7 Switch<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All gerberfiles etc are available at:    <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reamiga.info\/webfiles\/R1200\">http:\/\/www.reamiga.info\/webfiles\/R1200<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest version of the ReAmiga is Rev 1.5: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reamiga.info\/webfiles\/R1200\/ReAmiga1200Rev15.zip\">http:\/\/www.reamiga.info\/webfiles\/ReAmiga1200Rev15.zip<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New in Rev 1.5:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>(Obviously all fixes above is fixed here and can be ignored \ud83d\ude42 <\/li><li>Fixed a signal shorted to VCC in Rev1.4 (C0D)<\/li><li>Added a 74LS08 so now H and V sync is always buffered (this NEEDS to be installed or you will not get V and H sync out onto the monitors)<br>this to allow longer monitorcables and also save Alice if something goes wrong when hotplugging monitorcable.<\/li><li>Colorsignals to RGB and VGA port is now always via the PNP transistor buffers, so RGB port will not be a darker color. It is not recomended to<br>attach 2 monitors at once.<\/li><li>Composite out is now optional Composite OR Svideo out. (you cannot move old RCA to new board due to this)   SVideo needs to be installed aprox 1mm &#8220;over&#8221; the PCB.<\/li><li>Included a &#8220;Svideo&#8221; standoff for this.  do that PCB as a 1mm pcb.<\/li><li>Added connector for 7V fan (actually where 5V is &#8220;gnd&#8221; and 12V is plus)<\/li><li>Added leds for _RST, _KB_RST, _ODD_CIA, _EVEN_CIA and _ROMEN   also to Serial TXD and RXD (from the 5V level)   <br>TOTALLY OPTIONAL!.  Resistor at bottom 470Ohm so it is not that bright this is for all leds, change to higher or lower after taste (lowest 33Ohm).<\/li><li>Moved Mouseconnector and shrunk PCB some so you can have a mouse PCB like Amiga 1200 Rev 2.<\/li><li>Added mousePCB compatible with Amiga 1200 Rev 2 aswell  that have a optional Joysticktester (not mousedirection)<\/li><li>Added jumperheaders for selectable PAL\/NTSC Default start (then do not populate that 0ohm resistor, now removed from locator and pick&amp;place data)<\/li><li>Moved VGA Connector so it aligns more to other Dsubs.<\/li><li>Adopted components so you can do a full socket of board (remember that sockets is a source of problems)<\/li><li>Added resistor to IDE Activity so now adapters that made IDE led always bright will be handled correct.<\/li><li>Moved extra powerconnector slightly to not touch BVision when installed.<\/li><li>Fixed Silkscreen so all used components now have value.<\/li><li>Added pads close to floppyconnector for a 0Ohm resistor if you want to do the Escom floppypatch instead of a wire.<\/li><li>Added pads close to ROM socket for optional DRA0 pullup that some machines had with a 470Ohm (I think) resistor from clockport to a via.  now a SMD resistor can be used.<\/li><li>At bottom of board close to optional 1K resistor for zenerdiode, added a pad for possability to disable the default &#8220;sync on green&#8221; if wanted.  cut and solder<br><br>(There is a video of a cut and jump video on my youtube.  you do NOT need to do this.  that was only of boards with a date of 2020-04-08 and this is a newer run with that fixed!)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a list of components use for rev 1.5:  (MIGHT be outdated)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PLEASE Note that some parts have been EoL.
